Through prayer, sacrifice, and generosity, we can create a place where future generations will worship, grow in faith, and encounter the love and mercy of Jesus Christ.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Today we are called to gather together, to build up the house of God in Prescott. Specifically, we are called to become the house of God ourselves, built upon the chief cornerstone, the God-man, Jesus Christ.
Our age suffers an epidemic of loneliness. We boast individuality; we neglect, and ultimately trample upon, the utter uniqueness and value of the human person, who can only flourish in communion with God and his neighbor.
At our new home, we, the living stones, will become one house, creating a shelter where those lost in loneliness are found, and where the dignity and beauty of the human person, made in the image and likeness of God, is made alive again. We were not a people; we are now called to gather in unity as the people of God. Our age has forsaken mercy; we will receive it from God our Father, as we offer our spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Him, through Jesus Christ His Son, in the communion of the Holy Spirit; and we will pour it out for the healing, and life in Christ, of Northern Arizona.
The purchase of the Willow Hills campus is not about acquiring property and buildings. It is about creating a permanent home where future generations will be baptized, where marriages will be blessed, where children will learn the faith, where the lonely will find family, and where countless souls will encounter the love and mercy of Jesus Christ.
The sacrifices we make today will become a lasting witness of faith for those who come after us. I therefore invite every parishioner and every family to give generously and sacrificially according to their ability, trusting
that God, who has blessed us abundantly, will multiply our offerings for the building up of His Kingdom.
In giving to this campaign, we are proclaiming all the wonderful deeds of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light!
With love in Christ,
Fr. Jeffrey Frate
