Willows Hill Aquisition

St. George is moving forward with a clear path toward ownership of the Willow Hills campus.

‍

The opportunity before St. George is about much more than purchasing a property. It is about creating a permanent home where our parish can continue to grow, welcome others, and strengthen its Orthodox Christian witness throughout Northern Arizona.

The Willow Hills campus is an $8 million acquisition. Our path to ownership combines parish and leadership gifts, seller and private financing, and the anticipated sale of our existing parish properties. Based on the current plan, $6 million will ultimately come through leadership and capital campaign gifts, with an additional $2 million anticipated from the future sale of the Rosser Street and Gurley Street properties.

Each step brings us closer to a debt-free permanent home—and every gift helps move that vision forward.

What Your Gift Makes Possible

Your generosity will help provide a place where:

  • Our growing parish can worship together with room to welcome more people.
  • Children and adults can be baptized and received into the life of the Church.
  • Marriages can be blessed and families strengthened in the faith.
  • Children and youth can learn, grow, and build lifelong connections to the Church.
  • Adults can deepen their faith through education and spiritual formation.
  • Outreach, philanthropy, fellowship, and community events can expand.
  • Seekers can encounter the beauty and truth of Orthodox Christianity.
  • The sanctuary can be beautified over time through sacred iconography and liturgical appointments.
  • Future Orthodox communities may one day be seeded throughout the region.

The gifts we make today will serve people we know—and many we may never meet. They will help establish a spiritual home for families who have not yet arrived, children not yet born, and seekers still searching for a place to belong.

Thank you to everyone who is praying, giving, and helping St. George take this important step forward. Together, we are not simply acquiring a campus. We are building a lasting foundation for the life and mission of the Church.
